Bring Yoga to the Party

The holiday season has officially begun!  Let the fun, festivities, and face-stuffing begin!  🙂

We often spend more time with family and friends during the holidays.  During your get-togethers, feel free to talk about your yoga practice!  Even if you haven’t practiced in days, weeks, months, or years – if you have positive experiences from yoga, consider sharing them with a friend or family member who has not tried it!  Conveying your first-hand experiences is the best way to encourage others to give it a try.  Usually we jump on fitness programs on January 1 – why not encourage a head start for your friends and family (and possibly yourself)?  Getting an early start on our fitness goals before the new year will not only keep you in check during the inevitable holiday indulgences, but it will also make it easier to stick to your fitness goals at the beginning of 2016 and feel more empowered pursuing them.

If you (or your loved ones) need a primer on the amazing benefits of yoga in terms of physical, mental, and emotional health, check out the infographic we put together below.  Yoga may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we never know until we give it a try.  It could be a huge tool for transformation in the life of someone close to you!  And if they give it a try and still don’t care for it, no harm done – at least they gave it a fair shot!
