Our Hatha flow class connects traditional Hatha yoga poses into a continuous, creative and flowing practice. This class offers a bridge to our vinyasa flow classes – learn and practice the components of the vinyasa transition (plank pose, chaturanga dandasana, upward facing dog and downward facing dog) as well as modifications for the poses and different ways to flow through the transition. Students begin the practice of linking breath to movement as they flow from pose to pose. The class will include a warm-up into standing poses (which may include balancing poses, backbends and instructed inversions) and then a cool down preceding savasana. This is an excellent class for students who wish to transition into a vinyasa practice but are still building strength in their vinyasa transit and also enjoy spending time focusing on details of a pose.
